User friendly screens, ease of use and secure convenience have all been terms our members have used to describe our Online Banking. First time users will have no trouble transferring money, looking up checks, or making loan payments. And what’s even better…there’s no cost for Online Banking access to any account!
Whether you prefer the privacy of your own home, or office, in town or away, you can access your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week to:
- Obtain the balance or available funds on all your accounts
- Transfer funds between accounts
- Schedule recurring transfers between accounts
- See what checks have been paid
- Make loan payments
- See the history of your transactions
- Download account information into financial software
- Send secure messages to the credit union
- Obtain year-to-date interest information
- Pay bills to third parties
Once inside Online Banking you can enroll in our Bill Pay service, which is free and unlimited on all CUA checking accounts.
Your member number and Einstein Personal Identification Number will give you access to all these features and more, while offering you the piece of mind of 128-bit encryption and newly enhanced on-line security.
Protection for Your Account On-line
This year, CUA applied an even higher level of security to accounts via On-line Banking. These security enhancements provide added protection against on-line criminal activities, such as fraud, theft, and “spoof” sites. By adding multiple verification processes (personally selected update questions, security keys, etc.) the security of your on-line information increases by several layers of protection. With the new protection, you can rest easy knowing your CUA access is as secure as possible.
One-time Security Update
The first time you access CUA’s Online Banking, you will be required to complete an online security update. In order to access your CUA accounts, you must complete this one-time update. You must complete the update within five minutes of starting or you will receive an error message.
After Your Security Update
After your security update, the steps to login will change. The page will prompt you to enter your Account Number and re-enter a random code appearing on the screen. You may have to answer one of your selected update questions if you are on a different computer than usual. You will also see your selected security keyword before you are asked to enter your normal PIN.

We suggest changing your PIN on a regular basis and not giving anyone else access to it. If you have forgotten your Einstein PIN, request one now using our secure application. If you don’t have a Einstein PIN, call or stop in at any of our eight convenient locations and a Personal Service Representative will be happy to set one up for you.
