Einstein is a free, touch-tone phone service that is available to all members. Einstein allows you unlimited access to your account with any touch-tone phone – at home, at work, out of town, anywhere there is phone service. Let CUA’s automated system guide you step-by-step through your transactions. Not only do you have the option of using touch-tone features, you can also access the system by choosing the voice activation path. Voice activation allows you to speak your choices for information, leaving your hands free to take notes!
Einstein requires that you have a Personal Identification Number set-up within the system. Your first Einstein PIN will be set up at account opening and then you may change it at any time by accessing the CHANGE PIN option. (You may also change the PIN within Online Banking) Forgot your PIN? Contact us via the secure email function in Online Banking, use our secure application, or stop by any of our locations to get it reissued.
The initial menu gives you access to the following options:
- Einstein speaks both English & Spanish...you choose!
- access your account
- savings or loan rates
- a sample payment calculator
- or the ability to speak with a live representative (during normal business hours)
After entering your member number and PIN you can access:
- checking accounts
- savings accounts
- IRAs
- Loans
- credit cards
- important tax information
- an option to change your Einstein PIN
- the aggregate balance of all share accounts
- a live representative
You can:
- obtain balances
- review recent transactions
- check payment due
- schedule transfers
- withdraw by check
- review loan pay off amounts and daily interest
- obtain year to date and prior year to date interest paid
- make Visa payments
- locate CUA branches & ATMs
- verify branch hours
- calculate a loan payment
Key Tips for Einstein Use
- Listen carefully to the verbal prompts. The system provides step-by-step instructions for using each menu option.
- To access acount information, always have your account number(s) and PIN handy.
- Use the * (star) key to repeat the list of options you just heard.
- Use the 0 (zero) key to speak with a live representative at any time during normal business hours.
- When entering dollar amounts, use * to represent the decimal point.
- When using the Voice feature, you can say "HEY EINSTEN" at any time. Then ask Einstein your question. i.e. Where areyour ATMs? The system will then take you to the proper menu.
- Cuando use la opcion de voz, usted puede decir "Oye Einstein" en cualquier momento. Despues haga a Einstein su pregunta. Ej.
"?Encuentras las direcciones de ATMs?" El systema lo llevara al menu correcto.
Other Account Access
You may access all your accounts at CUA with one phone call. You must however, set up the Cross Reference Function at our office first. This feature will allow you to move freely from one account to the other without calling back. (Special Note…you must be an owner on all accounts you request access to.)
