Creditors look at your credit score to determine how much risk they are taking in lending you money. The higher your score, the lower your risk and that means you will likely receive better loan rates. It’s a good idea to check your credit score once or twice a year for accuracy. Visit annualcreditreport.com for free credit reports every 12 months from TransUnion, Equifax and Experian and to learn how to maximize your credit rating.
