Donations

Credit Union of America (CUA), a not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Wichita, Kansas is dedicated to the communities in which we live and conduct business. CUA was founded by teachers and education is where we focus our support. CUA contributes to events, activities, programs, and organizations that benefit academic educational activities, healthcare education and providers, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and promotion of business and special projects that benefit the whole in communities where the Credit Union does business.

What CUA Supports

Donation requests must focus either on financial education, academic education, or community growth and well-being; or, provide community services via education through a 501C3 charitable organization. We also have a team of employee volunteers for partnering on select projects.

Who Can Apply

CUA desires to make an impact in the communities where we serve, work and live. We only accept requests from the following: members in the State of Kansas, Unified School Districts in the State of Kansas, or local nonprofits (501C3) in our field of membership area. That area includes the following counties: Anderson, Atchison, Barber, Barton, Butler, Chase, Clark, Clay, Cloud, Coffey, Comanche, Cowley, Dickinson, Doniphan, Douglas, Edwards, Ellis, Ellsworth, Finney, Ford, Franklin, Geary, Gray, Harper, Harvey, Hodgeman, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Kingman, Kiowa, Leavenworth, Lincoln, Linn, Lyon, Marion, McPherson, Miami, Mitchell, Morris, Osage, Osborne, Ottawa, Pawnee, Pottawatomie, Pratt, Reno, Rice, Riley, Rooks, Russell, Rush, Saline, Sedgwick, Shawnee, Stafford, Sumner, Wabaunsee, or Wyandotte. 

Non-Eligible Requests

Requests are not accepted for projects that consist of, are promoted for, or sponsored by groups of the following nature:  political, religious, sports teams of any age, for personal/individual benefit, for-profit entities, non-public schools. Examples of non-eligible requests include, but are not limited to:  family reunions, ball teams, pageants, church fairs, travel, private/parochial/home-based schools, political forums. CUA does not support projects that discriminate or exclude individuals based on race, religion, national origin, gender, age, or physical or mental disabilities.

How to Apply

Donation requests are only accepted via this online form. Appointments are not scheduled except by CUA request.

Additional Funding

CUA also offers additional gifting through our Teach, Grow, and Inspire the Future (TGIF) Classroom Grant program, Healthcare Continuing Education Scholarships, and Student Scholarships. Applications for these programs can be found here.
